EDITOR – The last time I was stopped by Metro Police, it was by a pleasant female officer.
After requesting my driver’s licence, we discussed how hot the weather has been before she sent me on my way, wishing me a safe journey.
I suspect there are a lot of officers just like her, professional and courteous.
It is regrettable that a few bad apples cause the whole unit to be labelled as people to be afraid of and hopefully these can be identified and dealt with appropriately.
