EDITOR – The Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality (EMM) does not repair street lights that are out of order in Edenvale.
Reporting them out of order is a waste of time and effort, as it appears that dishing out reference numbers is all the EMM is able to do.
Our rates are paid on time, in full.
Experts inundate residents with crime prevention methods, but surely the most basic way of fighting crime remains restoring light to our darkened streets.
Four cars have been stolen in the area recently.
What are we as residents to do, to combat an ineffective EMM, who clearly demonstrates they do not care about our safety?
