EDITOR – Just a quick word of thanks for the excellent coverage you gave to the Modderfontein Conservation Society’s Heritage Day walk and museum open day.
The hours and days following the appearance of the NEWS resulted in numerous telephone calls and inquiries.
Heritage Day itself saw a good stream of people visiting the museum and Franz Hoenig Haus, where we had about 15 members of our heritage group on duty to guide people around during the morning.
I had a full complement for the walk through the Heritage Precinct, 25 people, and thoroughly enjoyed talking them around the village.
