EDITOR – How are we supposed to get on with our lives when the Post Office is on strike for a few pennies more.

I have never in my life been on a strike because some boss or other did not give me an increase.

I am blessed enough to have work at the age of 68; come guys get a life.

I went to the bank to change my address to the flat I have been living in since February, and to get my address changed is a major thing for banks.

Today I went to the bank with an old telephone account and was told sorry, the account is older than three months.

Well hello, the post office has been on strike for ever.

I cannot Rica my phone because there is an incorrect address, I cannot change my cell number, I cannot renew my library card.

They cannot even use an e-mail address that is one week old.

Is the whole of Gauteng going to close down because the Post Office does not have a life?

I am truly sick of the Post Office.

On October 29 I again went to try and change my address with my rent and electricity account and again they said no because it came from the apartment I live in and not the electricity department.

It is so frustrating.
