Join Friends of Rhodes Park

Editor - I would like to respectfully request, through your paper, on behalf of the I Love Kensington Association (Ilka) of whom I am a committee member, my portfolio being Rhodes Park, to Ms Belinda Brooks of Kensington, to consider joining the volunteer Friends of Rhodes Park.

Friends of Rhodes Park needs you.

Friends of Rhodes Park members walk around the park on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays, greeting the visitors and appealing to them to help keep Rhodes Park clean, beautiful and crime-free. I also request all lovers of Rhodes Park to contact Ilka with an offer to walk in the park.

Ilka is deeply distressed by the condition of the park and it is up to the residents to try and improve the condition as much as possible.
