Sponsors thanked

Editor – Young King and Queens Modelling, a non-government organisation based in Malvern, hosted its first ever Mr and Miss Spring Malvern on September 28 at the Malvern Methodist Church.

The aim of the organisation is to uplift and motivate youngsters from the Malvern, Kensington, Denver and Cleveland areas through talent shows.

Singing and dance competitions are among the events.

There were over 40 entrants in the inaugural event, from the ages of three to 16, who showcased their modelling skills to members of the community from different areas that were in attendance.

I would like to thank all those who supported and sponsored the event that made it a success. Woolworths Bedford Centre sponsored the food and the Espoir Modeling Agency based in Ridgeway sponsored the modelling vouchers to all entrants and trained the children before the event. I also thank Mr and Mrs Thabethe, The Restoration Team, and all those who took the time to sponsor prizes and fill out the donation forms.

Ms Gloria Ndunyana,

Chairperson.
