Liquor City Key West a pleasurable experience

The large aisles make pushing a trolley through an effortless experience, which is just the kind of thing one needs after a long day's work.

Liquor City Key West, located at the Key West Shopping Centre on Van Buuren Road, held its grand opening on Wednesday, April 9, to the immense pleasure of those in attendance.

One visitor relayed his experience:

When one enters the store, the first thing you notice, other than the elegantly regal shelving and lighting behind the cashiers is the open, cavernous and inviting store.

I entered into a fantasy world of what is arguably the biggest variety of liquor in the region.

Mr Ronaldo Farinha, the store manager, guided me through the aisles of wine, spirits, accessories and beer, culminating at the “Millionaires collection” of wines which are well laid out and form a focal point in the store.

With fridges which span the length of the impressively large store, there will very rarely be a warm beer on offer.

The large aisles make pushing a trolley through an effortless experience, which is just the kind of thing one needs after a long day’s work.

The store is well lit, well stocked and has an upmarket feel which makes buying liquor more than just your average run-of-the-mill grocery shopping experience.

Liquor City has produced the destination store in Bedfordview and in a centre which offers ample, free, parking it will definitely be the easiest place to buy your refreshments.

Judging by the turnout at the grand opening, my sentiments are not unique.

Suppliers, long-time customers and even the group’s head office staff turned out to celebrate the opening of this store which offers the community that which has been amiss for the last year or so; a liquor store we can be proud of. But don’t take my word for it, check it out and you’ll most likely agree with me.

Mr Farinha indicated that the spacious store would be looking to host wine tastings, whisky tastings and other liquor retail related functions.
