After taking a break over the festive season, the Edenvale Lions Basketball Academy returned to the court when they started preparations for the year ahead.

Wet weather could not curb the enthusiasm of the ELBA family when they warmed up and played against each other on January 11.

The academy attracts players from Germiston, Kempton Park, Thembisa, Alexandra and the greater Johannesburg East area.

Practices are held during the week and on Saturdays at the court at the Edenvale Sports Grounds on 17th Avenue.
