Thrilled to be done with high school, Reddam House Bedfordview’s Class of 2024’s top achievers have shared their secret ingredients for acing matric.

Zoë Pye (seven distinctions): Always choose subjects you enjoy and like. Also, taking a break from studying helps a lot.
Kezia Walton (seven distinctions): I had to prioritise what I was good at and had to put in the effort in my shortcomings. I had a schedule and time for studying and I also continued with my baking business and served at church.
Muhammad Patel (seven distinctions): It takes not only effort but self-belief, staying calm, and embarking on friendly competition. I am thankful to my family and my school for their support as well.
Mitchell Kathan (eight distinctions): I used to struggle with maths but I worked hard, stayed motivated and believed in myself. I also participated in sports and made time for friends and family.
Kent Allan (90% average and eight distinctions): I studied hard, paid attention in class, and watched YouTube videos especially for science subjects to get different explanations.
Yashodhan Naidoo (seven distinctions): From Grade Nine I started putting my all into it. Though every year is different, the main thing is to be consistent. Have a good balance between school and life and engage in extramural activities.
