“It is enabling us to cover more ground quickly and to transport our workers and essential equipment with ease.

“As it’s driven around the area, our bakkie is also creating awareness of Better Bedfordview among residents, who cannot miss its bright branding,” Marina added.

She urged all residents who aren’t already contributing to Better Bedfordview to get on board. “Donate today, to help us do more to make Bedfordview better!”

Residents can donate by visiting the NPO’s website – https://betterbedfordview.org.za/ – or emailing info@betterbedfordview.org.za

Commenting on their support of Better Bedfordview, Hatfield Motor Group managing director Brad Kaftel said that they recognised the importance of community organisations like Better Bedfordview that are making a meaningful difference in South Africa.

In addition to maintaining and improving the area, including making roads safer by fixing potholes and painting kerbs and road markings, Better Bedfordview is creating employment for unemployed South Africans.

“We believe in supporting the growth and development of community organisations like this in the same way that we nurture our business.

We share Better Bedfordview’s vision of improving South Africa one suburb at a time,” Brad stated.

Joe Mthimunye, non-executive director at Hatfield Motor Group, commended Better Bedfordview for the impact it is making.

“Donating this bakkie will help the NPO expand its work, and we’re proud to be part of the difference that Better Bedfordview is making.”
