Edenvale women unite in celebration

“The event was a beautiful reminder of the strength and spirit of our community.”

A Women’s Day breakfast was held at Edenvale’s La Strada Café to unite women.

Hosted by Compass Community Provision and Social Services on August 9, the breakfast saw local organisations, NPOs, the SAPS and CPF members celebrate Women’s Day.

Compass’ centre manager, Fiona Pickett, said they welcomed each guest with thoughtfully curated goodie bags, setting the tone for a morning filled with inspiration and camaraderie.

Besides being a morning of unity, the event was a platform for networking and community engagement.
