Case of murder investigated after a man was found dead in Elandsfontein
Communication officer Sergeant Lillian Modiga said on arrival they found the deceased’s friend sitting inside the shack where the body was lying in front of the couch.
The body of a 23-year-old man was found in Elandsfontein, in the early morning of July 27.
Bedfordview SAPS responded to the incident on Beer Street following an emergency call.

“Preliminary investigations found that the deceased had 23 stab wounds to his back.
“The suspect has since been arrested and detained at Bedfordview SAPS.
“The motive for the killing is unknown,” explained Modiga.
The case is under investigation.
