Reddam House Bedfordview will be hosting the 67 Minutes of Hope Concert at its school to raise funds for Home of Hope for Girls.
Residents and music lovers are urged to witness this unmissable event featuring over a dozen performers in a feast of song, dance and poetry.
What is unusual about it is that all the performers are survivors of trafficking.

Each singer, dancer or poet is herself a testament to the fact that no one needs to be defined by their background.
The performers are in full-time loving care in Home of Hope for Girls in Johannesburg, with a house in Cyrildene and one in Kensington. The self-started organisation currently cares for over 80 girls.
There they have begun to overcome trauma and learn to take pride in their talent.
The concert, organised by a team of volunteers and the girls themselves, promises to be an uplifting event for the family.
Over an hour and seven minutes, audiences will enjoy a tremendous variety of material as contemporary and traditional elements merge beautifully.
Excellent vocalists will perform solo and duet singing, and there will be soaring choir pieces, interspersed with traditional and contemporary dance performances and original poetry.

The aim is to offer an uplifting and joyous show while raising funds for the organisation as part of Tata Mandela’s 67 Minutes of Giving.
There are three performances. Two on July 27 at 11:00 and 15:00 and the last one on July 28 at 15:00.
All performances will take place at Reddam House, Bedfordview.
