“Every Sunday morning between 08:00 and 11:30 when we are open we arrange extra security so you can walk freely and safely,” said Melville Koppies volunteer Jenny Grice.
Grice said the security team includes two 24/7 JCPZ guards, one security-trained conservation Melville Koppies worker funded by the volunteer committee, and one Beagle security guard.

“The Melville Security Initiative (MSI) has very kindly offered to fund the Beagle guard for us. A huge thank you MSI,” said Grice.
Safe parking opposite the entrance to Melville Koppies at Marks Park Sports Club on Judith Road, Emmarentia.
