Residents have a blast at festival fun held at Emperors

Described as an 11-day culinary and beverage extravaganza the festival, featured culinary delights from countries from around the world

Community members were spoiled for choice and flavours when they attended the recent Johannesburg World Festival of Food and Drink at Emperors Palace.

The event kicked off on April 25 and ended on May 5.

Described as an 11-day culinary and beverage extravaganza the festival featured culinary delights from Greece, China, Germany, India, some South African favourites, vegan options and Italian sweet treats and tempting gelato.

It also offered a host of street bars and cafés, a wine route, Brewer’s Lane with an array of local beers, gins and ciders on offer, lounge bars and three entertainment stages.
