Report tampering of license plate recognition cameras – Edenvale CPF

“Co-operation is essential in helping us maintain the safety and security of our community.”

The Edenvale CPF has called for vigilance in the community and for residents to report anybody tampering with the community’s license plate recognition (LPR) cameras.

According to the forum, the camera network is an early warning system.

When a flagged vehicle enters an area, and the LPR camera picks it up, alerts go to the SAPS and private security companies.
