EMPD officers track and recover hijacked vehicle
The vehicle was taken to Aeroton police yard for safekeeping.
Officers from the EMPD Bronberg Precinct recovered a hijacked vehicle in Kempton Park on March 8.
EMPD spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Kelebogile Thepa said officers received information about the vehicle and followed up.

“A vehicle matching the same description as the one given was abandoned on North Road.
“The recovered silver Volkswagen was thoroughly inspected, and tested positive, as being the hijacked vehicle,” said Thepa.
The vehicle was taken to Aeroton police yard for safekeeping.
No arrests have been made.
