Love celebrated at Edenvale Community Centre

"Everyone seemed to have a very enjoyable time and didn't want to go home."

Edenvale Senior Citizens Society held a very successful Valentine’s Day lunch that saw 80 seniors attend.
The event was held on February 14 at the Edenvale Community Centre.

Committee member Linda Ranwell said the luncheon had a special suprise as members of the German Club choir gave an impromptu short rendition of a few of their songs.

Angeline Botha was the raffle winner of the Valentine’s lunch held by the Edenvale Senior Citizens Society.

“Everyone seemed to have a very enjoyable time and didn’t want to go home,” said Ranwell.

ESCS will host a Saturday morning market on March 9 inside the Edenvale Community Centre.

Ranwell said at the market the charity shop will be open and many more things will be available to buy as well.
Food and drink will be available to purchase.

She said a number of stalls selling handmade items, toys, jewellery, plants and much more will be available.
