Women excel at Modderfontein Golf Course

Gia Raad claimed victory in Modderfontein when she won the SA Women’s Amateur Matchplay Championship.
The championship was hosted at the Modderfontein Golf Course over February 7 and 9.

Raad works with Balderstone Sport Institute’s mental coach and head of golf performance Mark Fairbank.

Fairbank also works with Bobbie Brown, Paola Sakota and Isabella Williams, who all achieved great results in the championship.

Results were as follows:

Champions division: Gia Raad was the Knockout Championship winner while Bobbie Brown was the quarter finalist.

Silver division; Paola Sakota claimed the title as the Knockout winner while Isabella Williams was the quarter finalist.
