With the closure of Edenvale SPCA’s annual fundraiser, the Dogs Dinner Fund, it was revealed that R101 154 was raised with the help of the community.
The fundraising drive runs annually starting in October and ending in December.
Administrator Samantha Lubbe said on behalf of the SPCA, they thank the public for their generosity, kindness and support.

“With your donations and continued support, we can keep our doors open and provide a haven for the voiceless.”
She said the community’s support furthers the SPCA’s efforts to reach more animals, especially in outreach areas where education plays a vital part in caring for all animals.
“We would not be able to continue to do what we do daily without our supportive community,” said Samantha.
“Together we are making a difference in the lives of so many animals.”

She once again thanked the community for its support and wished residents a blessed year. Community members who donated between December 12 and the closing date were:
