Local golfers score a big victory at tournament
The ESWG chairperson, Charmaine Stone, lauded the ladies for their hard work, adding that they now have 151 members.
Sue Baugh and Marzia Jonker helped Ekurhuleni Senior Women’s Golf (ESWG) to a 48-point victory over Sages Senior Golf on January 24.
Baugh and Jonker scored a round of 47 points to take the tournament honours, while the Sages’ Chris and Julie Horn came a close second after accumulating 47 points (counted out).
Sonja Louw and Alta Vester from the ESWG rounded up the podium.

Some 103 players competed as Ekurhuleni teed off the year with a win after earning a combined 636 points, while Sages only managed 588 points.
