Ekurhuleni Homeless Forum national convention held between February 19 and 21

The Ekurhuleni Homeless Forum (EHF) and National Homeless Network (NHW) invite the public to the seventh National Convention on Homelessness from February 19 to 21 at the Manger Care Centre in Brentwood Park.
Some of the topics that will be discussed include skills development for the homeless, local network challenges and collaboration of various homeless forums with the government.
The national policy on homeless will also be drafted and the EHF requests the public to help shape this document.

The keynote speakers will be the authors of Tyranny of Growth, Malcolm Ray, Professor Stephan de Beer and Dr Raymond Perrier, who have been tasked to prepare a green paper on homelessness in South Africa.
The cost will be R300 (R100 per day) for food and refreshments for all three days.
