Help Edenvale police identify bodies
Police discovered the body of a woman at corner Laurie and Dent roads in Illiondale - need help identifying her.
Edenvale police are calling on the community to help them identify the body of a woman that was discovered on December 3 on the corner of Laurie and Dent roads, in Illiondale.
According to Warrant Officer Frans Nakedi Madibana, the woman had shopping bags with new clothes when she collapsed on the road.
Madibana said it wasn’t clear if she had been waiting for transport.

She is alleged to be between 49 and 50.
She was wearing a black T-shirt, sandals and dark jeans, either black or navy blue.
In another incident, the body of a man was discovered near Saner Road in Illiondale, close to the river.
The victim is suspected to be 35 to 38 years old.
Madibana said the victim had hanged himself from a tree.
The body was already in a state of decomposition.

He was wearing a red T-shirt, black trousers and black sneakers.
For identification, people can visit the Edenvale Police Station where they will be given a list of unidentified bodies to view at the mortuary.
