Linda said presently some of ESCS’ most popular activities are the senior’s gym classes and bingo days.

The are multiple other activities to participate in at the community centre.

“At the moment our senior’s gym classes and our bingo days are the most popular activities of the many things there are to do at the community centre.

“Normally the society is only open on weekdays but three times a year a Saturday morning market is held.”

Linda said this is done to help people who are unable to attend on weekdays to view the bargains available.

“Our curry and rice is famous, and a queue quickly forms at that stall,” said Linda.

The next market will be held on November 25 at Edenvale Community Centre. It will be held between 08:30 and 13:00. Entrance is free and a car guard is available.
