Edenvale BMX riders set to represent SA in Zimbabwe

Following their success nationally the local riders will travel to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, at the end of October to represent the country.

Edenvale residents Tyler Morello (10) and Matthew Sears (8) are set to represent SA following their success at the SA cup finals and nationals champs.

The pair recently competed at the SA Cup finals for 2023 and the BMX National Championships hosted at Queensborough BMX Club.

Matthew Sears (8) on the track. The Edenvale resident achieved SA 3 and SA 1 in his class after competing at the SA Cup finals for 2023 and the BMX National Championships, hosted at Queensborough BMX Club.

Both achieved SA 3 and SA 1 in their respective classes.

Morello and Sears are members of Kempton BMX Club and ride for Team Velocity.

Following their success nationally the local riders will travel to Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, at the end of October to represent the country.

Edenvale resident Matthew Sears (8) will represent SA when he and the rest of Team SA compete in African Continental BMX Championships.

Morello and Sears will travel with the South African team to African Continental BMX Championships set to be held on November 4 and 5.
