Little Eden celebrates the arrival of spring

With summer on the way, the society looks forward to more moments of joy and celebration in the days ahead.

Residents of Little Eden ushered in the month of spring with smiles and celebrations.

With the arrival of warmer weather residents of the Edenvale and Bapsfontein homes look forward to spending more time out in the fresh air and sunshine, enjoying flowers blooming in the garden and the songs of birds and bees.

At the society’s Elvira Rota Village, residents celebrated with hamburgers for lunch, followed by everyone’s favourite, ice cream.

Smiles and laughter were plenty.

At Little Eden, staff and residents enjoyed the shared moments of happiness where residents are cared for in nurturing environments where they can flourish.

With summer on the way, the society looks forward to more moments of joy and celebration in the days ahead.

With the arrival of spring, community members spring cleaning may want to consider supporting Little Eden by donating second-hand items, still in good condition to its charity shop.

Some of the items which the charity shop is looking for include clothing, kitchenware, linen, toys, books, and furniture.

Not only will the items donated help raise funds for the care of Little Eden’s residents, but it is also a way to reuse items and help budget-constrained shoppers.

Items can be dropped off at Little Eden’s new depot located at the Edenvale home 79 Wagenaar Road.
