Locals enjoy the annual Spring Expo at St Andrew’s School for Girls

Locals came out in numbers for a fun day out at St Andrew's School for Girls.

Locals came out in numbers to join St Andrew’s School for Girls to welcome spring with their annual Spring Expo on September 16.

The event attracted visitors from across Germiston and Johannesburg.

Lots of fun-filled activities took place on the day. This included sports competitions, markets and various food stalls.

The U16 rowing team moms Tumi Sebapalo and Gabriella Martini.

School marketer Brandon Townsend said, “Last year it was called the birthday bash as we were celebrating our 120th anniversary.

“Among the regular activities, this year we have introduced the beer garden to raise funds for the rowing team.

“The expo is about fun, camaraderie and raising funds for some of our school departments.”
