Edenvale sisters win pageant titles

The sisters won the titles after they competed at the pageant's finals held at Carnival City on October 16.

Edenvale sisters Jade and Genna-Leigh Pope walked away with the titles of Miss Teen Johannesburg and Miss Junior Teen respectively after participating in the Junior/Teen Mr and Miss Johannesburg pageant.
The sisters won the titles after they competed at the pageant’s finals held at Carnival City on October 16.
The event not only had modelling and speaking sections, but it also included a philanthropic section where finalists had to collect donations for The Starfish Foundation.
The foundation is managed by the Rolemodels Foundation.
Rolemodels Foundation hosts pageants across SA to raise funds and donations to run projects, which include a children’s home in Magaliesberg.
Both girls received certificates for their charitable contributions to The Starfish Foundation.
Jade also received the Senior Style Award as well as Miss Personality.
Both sisters received certificates for online voting.
Jackie Allen of House of Style, who coaches the sisters, said she is incredibly proud of the duo.
The sisters are both learners at Amiato Learning Centre, where Jade is completing matric and Genna-Leigh is a Grade Eight skills development learner.
Jade, who is a keen online gamer, plans to study criminal psychology next year while some of Genna-Leigh’s hobbies include netball and reading.
