Edenvale and Germiston areas will have no water for 40 hours this week

Rand Water plans to commission the new H5 pipeline on Minuach Road, between Sandvale and Cunningham roads.

Edenvale is scheduled for a 40-hour water outage from 18:00 on June 9 to noon on June 11.

Rand Water plans to commission the new H5 pipeline on Minuach Road, between Sandvale and Cunningham roads.

The affected areas will be Isandovale, Edenglen, De Klerkshof, Eastleigh, Hurlyvale, Highway Gardens, Buurendal, Illiondale, Sebenza and Meadowdale.

Water tankers will be at:

• Corner of Harris and Baker roads at Karaglen Mall.

• Beverley Park on Beverley Road in Highway Gardens.

• Corner of St Andrew and St Matthew roads in Hurlyvale.

• The corner of Hubert Matthews and Lols roads in Illiondale.

Residents are encouraged to store sufficient water for the duration of the shutdown.
