Woman (57) shot and killed in Bedfordview
The body was found inside a car at the corner Van Der Linde and Smith roads.
The body of a 57-year-old white woman was found at the on the corner of Van Der Linde and Smith roads in Bedfordview on June 21.
According to the Bedfordview SAPS spokesperson, Lillian Modiga, officers were patrolling the area when they came across the body at 21:11.

“Police officers were doing patrols when they saw the car parked on the island.
“Upon inspecting the car, they realised that the passenger window had bullet holes and there was a white woman inside the car.
“They checked the woman and found that she had been shot,” said Modiga.
The woman was certified dead by the paramedics and her body was transported to the nearest mortuary.
<span;>A case of murder was opened and Bedfordview SAPS urged anyone with information linked to the murder to come forward.
