Local police catch suspects with stolen goods
The police recovered the stolen truck and arrested three suspects.
Three suspects were arrested for possession of an unlicensed firearm, live ammunition and stolen property.

On April 12 at about 09:55, the provincial investigating unit, with assistance from the EMPD and the Bedfordview SAPS, recovered a stolen truck and some goods in Elandsfontein.
Bedfordview Police Station’s corporate communication officer, Sergeant Lillian Modiga, said they received a tip-off about an ongoing business robbery in Isando.
“The truck was found emptied and abandoned a few blocks from the business premises.

Following investigations, the police were able to track the suspects to Mabondeni informal settlement in Elandsfontein.
“On arrival, two male suspects and one female with unlicensed firearms and live ammunition, as well as stolen goods, were arrested,” she said.
The suspects were detained at Bedfordview Police Station.
