Local youth desk launches new T-shirts

We want to express our gratitude for all the assistance we received throughout this programme.

During the start of Child Safety Week, the Primrose Youth Crime Prevention Desk unveiled its brand-new T-shirts.
Ackermans Pharmacy donated the shirts.

Ward 36 Clr Wendy Morgan, chairperson of the CPF Tracy Enslin, representatives of Ackermans Pharmacy, and the Ekupholeni Mental Health and Trauma Centre, supported the introduction of both initiatives.

Primrose Youth Crime Prevention Desk walk against crime and injustices against children, along with Ward 36 Clr Wendy Morgan.

Adil Bingle, a member of the Youth Desk, said thanks after Enslin and Morgan offered words of encouragement as the programme began with prayer.

A walk from the pharmacy in Primrose Central soon began and safety tip pamphlets were distributed to residents.

The Child Protection Week wrapped up on June 2 with a road show in Primrose to its informal settlements.

Members of the Primrose Youth Crime Prevention Desk and representatives of the Ackermans Pharmacy during the unveiling of the Youth Desk new T-shirts and launch of Child Protection Week.

During the roadshow, children were visited and handed toys and snacks donated by Chubby Chums.

During the week schools, pre-schools, and children in the informal settlement were visited to spread awareness of children’s rights and safety.
