Holy Rosary donation to Hospice East Rand immensely appreciated

Holy Rosary School for Girls donated much-needed items to Hospice East Rand.

The learners, led by Sharon Meyer who is the head of religion and life orientation, collected various items on Hospice’s wish list during the period of Lent.

“We’re always committed to helping and giving back to our community,” said Meyer.

“Our learners took this initiative to heart and collected numerous items to benefit Hospice East Rand. We are grateful to everyone who contributed towards these donations.”

Jonquil Siepman, marketing and media liaison at Hospice East Rand, expressed her sincere appreciation for the school’s generosity.

“Things are always better when a community works together,” she said.

Hospice East Rand is an NPO that provides palliative care to patients diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses.

The NPO relies on support and donations from the community to continue the work it does.

Jonquil said the contribution from Holy Rosary School will help significantly.
