Since 2020, the NPO has collaborated with Bishop Lazarus of the Lazarus Legacy Foundation on this initiative.

“We have cared for more than 5 000 needy people with varying needs in parts of Germiston, Kempton Park and Brakpan,” said Pastor Barlin Govender, CDF founder.

The Community Development Foundation International (CDF) soup kitchen helps to feed multitudes across the City of Ekurhuleni.

“On March 15, at Shiloam Ministries, we fed 200 people. I’ve known Bishop Lazarus since 1981.

“It’s a pleasure to work with him. He is driven to assist others. I treasure and honour our friendship in God’s work,” said Govender.
