Woman rushed to hospital after her car rolls on Rand Airport Road

Paramedics save a woman in a critical condition.

A 42-year-old woman was critically injured when she lost control of her vehicle and rolled off the Rand Airport Road in Germiston.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 12:30 to find a sedan at the bottom of a long embankment lying on its roof.

“The woman was lying along the roadside. Medics assessed the woman and found that she had sustained injuries to her head and chest, leaving her in a severe condition,” said ER24 communications officer Russel Meiring.

“The woman was treated and immediately transported to a private hospital for further care.”
