Edenvale police embark on an awareness campaign
Officers warned about the dangers of drugs, domestic violence and bullying at school.
Officers from Edenvale Police Station embarked on a crime prevention awareness campaign earlier this month.

The campaign saw Edenvale SAPS Vispol commander Lieutenant Colonel France Marweshe, GBV coordinator Constable Malesela Bopape and communications officer Warrant Officer Jacob Mashile engage with stakeholders.
Mashile said areas focused on included the Edenvale Taxi Rank and KaraGlen Shopping Centre.
He said officers advised members of the public about the dangers of drugs, domestic violence and bullying at school.
“Pamphlets were distributed and members of the community welcomed the initiative.
Marweshe welcomed and applauded the campaign.

He insisted that the police in Edenvale continue engaging with the community and building trust.
