Lieutenant Colonel Sinothi Ndaba said as police they need to engage more with security companies than what they are currently doing.

“We need to get this forum up and running as soon as possible.

When people are in danger they either call the police or alert the security companies. It makes sense for us to work together in serving the community.

“We must be united to win the fight against crime,” explained Ndaba.

BCPF’s head of patrollers Jacques Steyn said working together with security companies will intensify the community’s trust and eliminate criminal activities in the area.
