Members of Edenvale SAPS embarked on a crime awareness campaign when they engaged with liquor traders in Edenvale CBD.
Edenvale SAPS communications officer Sergeant Jacob Mashile said the purpose of the November 3 campaign was to raise awareness about dangers and crimes associated with liquor in the community.
“Pamphlets containing safety tips and important contact numbers were shared with the traders and members of the community,” said Mashile.
“Owners and managers of liquor outlets were delighted to meet and interact with the SAPS members.”
