Bedfordview learners compete in KZN

Treverton Prep took first but was closely contested by a strong team from Bedfordview Primary School.

Bedfordview Primary School placed second when learners participated in the Challenge Camp Hosted by Treverton College.

The challenge saw schools from KwaZulu-Natal and Gauteng send teams of five Grade Six learners to participate in the camp.

It included challenges focused on problem-solving, outdoor activities and teamwork.

Activities included kayaking, obstacle courses, chariot building, rock climbing, bridge building, pattern recognition, applied logic, creative thinking, pitching their tents, cooking meals, war cries and others.

After a weekend of fun and fierce competition, the results were announced.

One point determined the winning team.

Third place was a tie position between learners from Merchiston and a team made up of Howick Preparatory and Winterton Primary.
