Community members can do this by entering the club’s Toy for Joy Competition.

Club president Margaret van Wyk said toys can be made from any type of material but must be handmade and donated to the club.

“The donated toys will be distributed to sick and underprivileged children in time for Christmas.”

Competitors must attach their name and telephone number to each toy made.

Each entrant may enter various toys for judging.

The competition will close on November 30, judging takes place in early December.
