R 30 000 donated to Edenvale Care Centre Hospice and Edenvale SPCA

During the handing over of the donations, Kendall said it felt fantastic to give back to the two organisations.

The Classic Motorcycle Club donated R30 000 to Edenvale Care Centre Hospice and Edenvale SPCA.

The donation was made on September 11 after the club hosted its annual 1 000 Bike Show at Jeppe Quondam on July 30 and 31.

The chairperson, Graham Kendall, said the club always gives back after the show was held.

“We made some money at the show and decided to give back to the community.”

Graham said the care centre had been a longstanding beneficiary of the club and after the club hosted its show at Jeppe Quondam it decided to identify Edenvale SPCA as the second beneficiary.

“Thank you, both organisations, for the hard work you do in the community,” said Kendall.

During the handing over of the donations, Kendall said it felt fantastic to give back to the two organisations.

“It is nice to know that the motorcycling community can help.”

Following the donations, the beneficiaries were treated to a meal in Modderfontein.
