Dragons Swimming Club scoop medals at provincial championships

“We can see what commitment and dedication does for one's results and this has been showcased by these swimmer."

The senior team from Dragons Swimming Club competed at the Eastern Gauteng Aquatics Senior Championships where they walked away with six medals.

Held at St Andrew’s, the event took place on August 27 and 28. According to the club’s coaches, the swimmers swam incredibly well.

Lungelo Mkwebane, Luke la Porte, Cassidy Sinclair, Sarah Hutt and in front Zeeva Jones at the Eastern Gauteng Aquatics Senior Championships.

The swimmers racked up 25 personal bests, one gold, four silver and one bronze medal.

“We can see what commitment and dedication does for one’s results and this has been showcased by these swimmers,” said club management.
