Dragons Swimming Club member collect awards at ceremony

At the ceremony Luke Sproule was awarded as the Top EGA Male Performer at SSA Regional Seniors while Cornelle Leach secured district colours for competing at SA Senior Nationals.

Several Dragons swimmers were recently invited to attend the EGA Awards ceremony.

Luke Sproule was awarded as the EGA top male performer at the SSA Regional Seniors while Cornelle Leach secured district colours for competing at the senior nationals.

Kat Swanepoel scooped the EGA top performer at SA Senior National.

Ana Sequeira and Cassidy Sinclair each obtained district colours for competing at SA Junior Nationals.

Matthew Falconer achieved the EGA age group record for 18 and up 200m backstroke while Hannah Rigby secured district colours for competing at the SA Junior Nationals and the EGA age group record for 13-year female in the 400m freestyle, 400m individual medley and 800m freestyle events.

Zuria Venter obtained district colours for competing at SA Junior Nationals and was awarded the EGA age group record for 11-year female in the 200m breaststroke and the 200m individual medley events.

She was also awarded the EGA Champs 10 to 11 years victrix ludurom trophy.
