Edenvale youngsters scoop medals

Students Kreshay Ramjith and Yakshay Sewnarian were selected to be part of the national squad to represent SASKA South Africa at the 10th WUKF World Karate Championships.

Students from SASKA’s Lotus Karate Club based in Edenvale recently competed at two tournaments.

At the end of May students attended the SZA Gauteng open held at Godrich Toyota, Nan-Hua in Bronkhorstspruit.
Five students returned home with nine medals.

In June two students took part in the All Styles Challenge held at the Hall for the Disabled in Pretoria West and won three medals.

Additionally, students Kreshay Ramjith and Yakshay Sewnarian were selected to be part of the national squad to represent SASKA South Africa at the 10th WUKF World Karate Championships, to be held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida USA.
The championships are set to take place from July 2 to July 7.
