The event was held at the 1st Hellenic Scout Hall where the 1st Bedfordview Troop won the coveted trophy.

Winners from 1st Bedfordview are Hayden Evans, Ethan Patterson, Mogale Kgaswe, Andrew Kennedy and Bassie Lotz.

A skilled pioneer can build bridges, towers, catapults, rafts and other objects with ropes and poles – no nails, screws or other fasteners are allowed.

Pioneering projects are judged on their design, the correctness and tightness of lashings, as well as adherence to safety protocols and leadership.

Those interested in joining one of the nine Scout groups in the Bedfordview and Edenvale areas can contact Andrew Campbell on 084 758 4189.
