Three suspects robbed a pharmacy store in Meadowdale Shopping Centre on Monday last week, May 2.

According to spokesperson for the Bedfordview SAPS Sergeant Lillian Modiga, the men entered the store and overpowered security at the door.
The men forced the security officer to lie on the floor and when he tried to refuse the officer was hit with a firearm.
“The men then proceeded to break open several cabinets in the store and take a number of high-value perfumes,” Modiga said.
She added that it was believed that same group targeted a pharmacy store in Village View Shopping Centre in Bedfordview recently.
Modiga urged business owners and employee to be alert at all times.
