Edenvale High School karateka to represent GP in nationals

Edenvale High School (EHS) learner Nadine Roode was selected for the SA JKA Gauteng karate team and will represent at the SA JKA national tournament in May after claiming gold in March.

Earlier this year, Nadine participated in the SA JKA Gauteng Provincial Trials and Tournament, where she received gold medals for kata and kumite.

The provincial trials and tournament were held at the Ellis Park Indoor Arena.

The national tournament is set to be held on May 20 and 21.
