HRS learners excel on the water

In addition to claiming third place at the championships, which were held at the start of March, several HRS learners were awarded gold medals.

Holy Rosary’s (HRS) rowing team had a successful end to the season at the South African Schools’ Rowing Championships, when the school placed third overall.

In addition to claiming third place at the championships, which were held at the start of March, several HRS learners were awarded gold medals.

The school’s u-19 first squad, which included Jeanne Riemann, Emma Gomes, Courtly Nicolson, Chanel Roetger and Caitlyn Koekemoer, placed first.

Similarly, it’s u-16 squad, which included Hannah Roetger, Ashleigh Thirlwell, Nicola McDonald, Leanne Webber and Vanessa dos Santos, also placed first.

Holy Rosary School u-19 first squad: Jeanne Riemann, Emma Gomes, Courtly Nicolson, Chanel Roetger and Caitlyn Koekemoer.
