The three-day soccer camp saw the institute welcome coaches Carlos Silva and Nuno Barroca from Sporting Clube Farense, Portugal.
Besides visiting BSI to train players, coaches Silva and Barroca were at the academy to scout the talent on display.
Of the 65 players who took part in the camp, nine players will be invited for trials in Portugal.
BSI congratulated the players on their identification and reminded them to work hard in training and the study centre.
The institute encouraged players who were not identified to train hard and apply themselves to their academics.
Sharing final feedback with the players, coaches Silva, Barroca and BSI encouraged its players to:
• Study hard in school.
• Remember the importance of nutrition and recovery.
• To train hard and remain disciplined.
• To be humble.
BSI thanked the institute’s community, its parents, staff, players, sponsors, the passionate coaches of SC Farense and the chairperson of SC Farense João Rodrigues for making its first training camp a memorable experience.
