Toastmasters to host open day

Modderfontein Breakfast Club Toastmasters invited community members to attend its open house event.

On February 26 guest speaker Nitay-Yair Levi, who placed second at the 2021 World Championship of Public Speaking, will share the story of his toastmaster’s journey.

Set to be held at the Eden Meadows Shopping Centre’s Dros, the February meeting will start at 08:45 for 09:00.

The theme for the open house event is Mission Impossible and as such the dress code is black and white. The event is free to the public.

Tapiwanashe Zhou, Modderfontein Breakfast Toastmasters Club president, said: “The club provides a supportive and positive environment where members have the opportunity to develop their communication and leadership skills.”

Once Nitay-Yair has spoken members and guests will be able to enjoy a regular Toastmasters meeting that includes prepared and impromptu speeches.
